Trey's Biscuits
- 2 cups flour
- 8 Tbs butter plus 2 Tbsp.
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
- Make a well, and pour half milk in. Knead with hands. Slowly add in remaining milk while kneading.
- Flour flat surface, and knead two or three times. Roll dough out to 1/2 inch thick. Use cookie cutter or cup to cut round biscuits.
- Butter parchment paper (on baking sheet). Place cut biscuits on parchment.Put melted butter on top of biscuits.
- Bake on 425 degrees F for 10-13 minutes.
