Cornbread (Dairy Free)

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water, plus
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/3 cup oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Combine all ingredients and beat well.
  3. Bake in greased and floured 8-inch cake pan for 20- 25 mintes
